CCC Ministry
They offer a safe, non-judgmental setting for
individuals to explore personal experiences in a caring Christian Ministry setting. The
CCC is trained to listen to what is being said both in words and in actions to help illuminate the deeper
meaning, which can include aspirations, need for acceptance, or bewilderment at life's difficulties.
CCC Ministers act as an extension to pastoral visits, giving Amazing Grace a wider reach in
ministering to the needs of our members and community.
Bereavement Card Ministry
Keeps in touch with members of Amazing Grace who have
suffered the loss of a loved one. CareNotes© specific to their grief are mailed to them through the
first year of the loss.
Blood Pressure Screenings
Are held monthly on a Sunday at Amazing Grace. The
screenings promote healthy living and can help catch health problems early.
Call to Protect
This is a collection program of used, functioning
cell phones. They are reprogrammed to dial out 911 only, then given to community programs that
distribute them to victims of domestic violence or senior citizens. This gives them the ability to
access help if the need arises.
Exercise and Good Nutrition
This is encouraged by a variety of different and changing
programs.
Gift of Sight
This program promotes collection of used eyeglasses.
Sponsored by LensCrafters and Lions Club, the eyeglasses are repaired and then distributed to persons
in our country and around the world who are in need.
JULIET Luncheon
Just Us Ladies Informally Eating Together. Ladies meet
monthly with their bag lunch to enjoy Christian fellowship.
Lay Communion Ministry
Provides trained laypersons that go out and bring
the Sacrament to our sick or shut-in members.
